Important — Company ID must match the company you authorize
During authorization, QuickBooks shows a company selection screen. Select the same company whose Realm ID you enter below. The entered Company ID is used directly in every API request, so on a mismatch you may get an error, or the connection may succeed and read and write data to the wrong company.
- If you have access to multiple companies, pick the one matching the Realm ID you entered.
- Always double-check both are the same company before connecting.
Find your Company ID (Realm ID)
Locate your Realm ID in your QuickBooks Online account.
Sign in to QuickBooks Online
Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Click the Gear icon in the top right corner.
- Under the PROFILE section, click Subscriptions and billing.
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Fill out the fields
- Company ID (Realm ID)
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
