The Company ID (Realm ID) you enter here must be the same company you select in the QuickBooks authorization popup. If they differ, the connection may fail — or it may succeed and send every API request to the wrong company.

Important — Company ID must match the company you authorize

During authorization, QuickBooks shows a company selection screen. Select the same company whose Realm ID you enter below. The entered Company ID is used directly in every API request, so on a mismatch you may get an error, or the connection may succeed and read and write data to the wrong company.

  • If you have access to multiple companies, pick the one matching the Realm ID you entered.
  • Always double-check both are the same company before connecting.
