An OAuth Application must be registered under the API menu of your Namely HRIS site (admin access required).

Register an OAuth Application

Create an OAuth application in your Namely HRIS site to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.

Open the API menu

Sign in to your Namely HRIS site as an administrator and click the API menu item. If you do not see it, contact your client success manager or Namely administrator for permission.

Create the application

On the OAuth Applications tab, create a new application and provide a Name, your company Website, and one or more Redirect URI(s).

  • Set the redirect URI to https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/namely/callback

Copy the credentials

After saving, copy the Client Identifier and Client Secret and store them securely for use in the Auth Config.

Creating the StackOne Connector Profile

To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for Namely:

Navigate to Connector Profiles

Login to StackOne and navigate to Connector Profiles

Create New Connector Profile

  • Click + Connector Profile
  • Search for and select Namely
  • Select Type as OAuth 2.0
  • Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
  • (Optional) Select Actions to be enabled for this Connector Profile
  • Click Create profile
Congratulations! The new Connector Profile will now show up in your project ready to be used. You can now continue to Link Accounts for Namely.
