Kameleoon issues OAuth apps through your Kameleoon Technical Account Manager, so request one before anyone links an account. The API credentials on your My profile page are a separate pair for the client credentials connection.

Requesting a Kameleoon OAuth app

Kameleoon issues the OAuth app credentials once it has your redirect URL.

1

Request the OAuth app

Ask your Kameleoon Technical Account Manager for an Automation API OAuth app that uses the authorization code flow.

  • Give them the Callback URL from your Connector Profile as the app’s redirect URL.
  • If you don’t know your Technical Account Manager, contact Kameleoon Global Support.
2

Copy the credentials

Kameleoon sends you the app’s Client ID (client_id) and Client Secret (client_secret).

  • Copy the Client ID into your Connector Profile.
  • Copy the Client Secret into your Connector Profile.
  • Keep the Client Secret private, and store it somewhere safe in case you need it again.
