Create a Marketplace app

Register an app in the HighLevel Marketplace and copy its client credentials.

Create the app

Sign in at marketplace.gohighlevel.com, open My Apps and click Create App.

Choose the distribution type

Under Target User, choose Agency to review a whole agency, or Sub-account to review one sub-account. Pick the same value in App Distribution here. Under Listing Type, do not choose White-label: HighLevel will not save a redirect URL that mentions HighLevel on a white-label app, and the StackOne redirect URL contains highlevel.

Add scopes and the redirect URL

Under Advanced Settings > Auth, click the Select Scope dropdown and add the scopes users.readonly and locations.readonly, plus companies.readonly for an agency app. Enter https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/highlevel/callback in the Redirect URL field and click Add to save it.

Copy the credentials

Under Manage > Secrets, click Add in Client Keys and copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

  • The Client Secret is shown once. Copy and store it immediately; HighLevel will not show it again.

Creating the StackOne Connector Profile

To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for HighLevel:

Navigate to Connector Profiles

Login to StackOne and navigate to Connector Profiles

Create New Connector Profile

  • Click + Connector Profile
  • Search for and select HighLevel
  • Select Type as OAuth 2.0
  • Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • App Distribution
    • Scopes (Optional)
  • (Optional) Select Actions to be enabled for this Connector Profile
  • Click Create profile
Congratulations! The new Connector Profile will now show up in your project ready to be used. You can now continue to Link Accounts for HighLevel.
