Retrieve Your Organization Slug

Your organization slug is the subdomain in your Gladly URL. For example, if your Gladly URL is https://acme.gladly.com, then your organization slug is acme.

1

Find Your Organization Slug

Open your Gladly instance in a browser and note the subdomain in your URL (e.g., https://acme.gladly.com — the slug is acme). Enter this value in the Organization Slug field in StackOne.

Create a Dedicated API User

Gladly recommends creating a dedicated user account for API access.

1

Enable API User Permission

- Log in to your Gladly instance.
- Open the menu in the top-left corner and navigate to Settings > Users.
- Search for and click the user profile you wish to use for API access.
- Enable the API User permission while keeping the Agent role intact.
- Click Save.

Generate an API Token

Create an API token for the API user account.

1

Open API Token Settings

Log in as the API user and click More settings in the navigation menu.

2

Create Token

Click API Tokens, then click the Create Token button in the upper right. Copy the generated token immediately — it is shown only once. Store it securely.

3

Enter Credentials in StackOne

Enter the API user’s email address in the Agent Email field and the copied token in the API Token field in StackOne.
