You need the Create API OAuth Clients grant or an Admin role to create API clients.

Create an API client

Register an API client in your Domo instance to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.

Sign in to Domo

Sign in to your Domo account.

  • Navigate to Admin.
  • Under Authentication, select API Clients.

Create a new client

Select Create to open the client creation modal.

  • Enter a unique Name for the client (e.g., StackOne Integration).
  • Enter a Description to capture the planned usage (required).

Select scopes

Select the scopes for the integration based on your needs (for example, Account, Audit, Buzz, Data, Dashboard, User, and Workflow).

Copy credentials

Click Create to generate the client. The Client ID and Client Secret are displayed.

  • Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret and store them securely for use later.
  • This is the only time the Client Secret is displayed — save it before closing the dialog.

Creating the StackOne Connector Profile

To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for Domo:

Navigate to Connector Profiles

Login to StackOne and navigate to Connector Profiles

Create New Connector Profile

  • Click + Connector Profile
  • Search for and select Domo
  • Select Type as OAuth 2.0
  • Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
  • (Optional) Select Actions to be enabled for this Connector Profile
  • Click Create profile
Congratulations! The new Connector Profile will now show up in your project ready to be used. You can now continue to Link Accounts for Domo.
