Creating an OAuth Application
Create an OAuth application to obtain Client ID and Client Secret for secure integration.

Sign in to ClickUp
Sign in to your ClickUp account with Admin or Owner permissions.

Navigate to Settings
From your ClickUp dashboard:
- Click on your workspace name in the top left corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Access OAuth App Settings
In the Settings page:
- Navigate to the ClickUp API section in the left sidebar (under Integrations & ClickApps).
- Click the ClickUp API Settings sub-tab at the top of the page.
- Click the + Create an App button.

Configure Your OAuth App
Fill in the application details:
- Enter an App Name (e.g., “StackOne Integration”).
- Add the Redirect URL
https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/clickup/callback. - Click Create App to generate your credentials.

Copy Client ID and Secret
After clicking Create App, an App Created popup appears with both credentials — copy them directly from this popup:
- Copy the Client ID from the popup.
- Click Hide to mask the Client Secret while reading it, or copy it directly, and store it securely.
- If you lose the secret, you can return to the same app and click Regenerate next to the Client Secret field — note that regenerating invalidates the previous secret.
Creating the StackOne Connector Profile
To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for ClickUp:1
Open the connector
Log in to StackOne, open Connectors, and select ClickUp.

Choose actions and events
- Click Add Profile.
- If the connector offers more than one authentication method, set the Auth Method filter to OAuth 2.0.
- Select the actions, and any events, to enable for this Connector Profile.
- Click Continue.

Set up authentication
- Select Authentication Type as OAuth 2.0.
- Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Click Create Profile.
