Create OAuth Application

Register an OAuth application in the Braintree Control Panel.

Access OAuth Settings

Navigate to the OAuth application settings.

  • Log in to the Braintree Control Panel
  • Click the gear icon in the top right corner
  • Select OAuth from the dropdown menu
  • Navigate to the OAuth Apps tab
  • Click Create Application

Configure Redirect URL and Scopes

Set up the callback URL and requested scopes.

  • Enter the app Display Name and Website URL
  • Upload a Logo Image (PNG or JPG, minimum 200px x 200px)
  • Add the Redirect URL: https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/braintree/callback
  • Select the required Scopes for your integration
  • Save the application and copy the Client ID and Client Secret

Creating the StackOne Connector Profile

To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for Braintree:

Navigate to Connector Profiles

Login to StackOne and navigate to Connector Profiles

Create New Connector Profile

  • Click + Connector Profile
  • Search for and select Braintree
  • Select Type as OAuth 2.0
  • Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • Scopes (Optional)
  • (Optional) Select Actions to be enabled for this Connector Profile
  • Click Create profile
Congratulations! The new Connector Profile will now show up in your project ready to be used. You can now continue to Link Accounts for Braintree.
