Only the Account Owner can create, edit, or manage API tokens. Contact your Account Owner if you need token access.

Generate API Token

Create an API token for API authentication in your Wistia account.

Navigate to API Settings

Access the API tab in Account Settings.

  • Sign in to your Wistia account
  • Navigate to Account > Settings
  • Click the API Home tab in the sidebar

Create API Token

Generate and save your new access token.

  • Click the New token button
  • Enter a nickname for the token (e.g., “StackOne Integration”)
  • Select the appropriate scopes/permissions
  • Click Create
  • Copy the token value immediately and store it securely
  • Note: Tokens are only copyable immediately after creation - they cannot be viewed after refreshing the page

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
