Create a Service Account key
Unthread authenticates every REST API request with a Service Account key sent in theX-Api-Key header.

Sign in to Unthread
Sign in to your Unthread dashboard with an account that can manage settings.
- Open Settings from the dashboard navigation.

Open API keys
In Settings, open the API Keys area for service accounts.
- Find the section for Service Accounts or API Keys.

Generate and copy the key
Create a new Service Account key and copy its value.
- Click to generate a new Service Account key.
- Copy the key value and store it securely for use later.
- Paste it into the API Key field in StackOne.
Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub
Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields
Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
- API Key

Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
