Ensure you have Admin privileges for your UKG Ready account.

Find your UKG Ready URL and Company Short Name

Your UKG Ready Base URL and Company Short Name identify your organization’s UKG Ready environment.

Sign in to UKG Ready

Sign in to your UKG Ready account.

  • Your login URL is specific to your organization — contact your administrator or UKG Ready support to obtain it.
  • Copy your UKG Ready Base URL from the browser address bar — it ends with .rdy.ukg.dev or .saashr.com. Store it for use later.

Navigate to Company Setup

Click at the top-left corner.

  • Navigate to Settings > Global Setup > Company Setup.

Copy Company Short Name

Under the Company Info tab, scroll down to the Company Address section.

  • Copy the value in the Company Short Name field.

Enable OAuth Applications

The OAuth Applications section must be added to Company Setup before you can create OAuth credentials. Skip this section if OAuth Applications is already visible under the Login Config tab.

Open Edit Tabs

In Company Setup, click Edit Tabs.

  • In the Available Windows section, locate OAuth Applications.
  • Drag it into a column under the Login Config tab.
  • Click Save and navigate back to Company Setup.

Create a Security Profile

A Security Profile defines what data the OAuth application can access. Create one with the permissions required for your integration before generating OAuth credentials.

Navigate to Security Profiles

Click at the top-left corner.

  • Navigate to Profiles/Policies > Security.
  • Click NEW SECURITY PROFILE.

Configure the Security Profile

Enter a Name, optionally a Description, and check the Active field.

  • Under Security Items, click Full Access to grant all permissions, or select individual permissions based on the data this integration should access.
  • Click Save.

Generate OAuth credentials

Create a Machine to Machine OAuth application in UKG Ready to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret.

Open OAuth Applications

In Company Setup, click the Login Config tab.

  • Find the OAuth Applications section and click Add OAuth Application.

Configure the OAuth application

Fill in the application details.

  • Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., StackOne)
  • Application Type: Select Machine to Machine
  • Security Profile: Select the Security Profile you created in the previous section.
  • Account Groups: Click the List Group icon and select the All Company Employees system group.
  • Copy the Client ID displayed in the dialog and store it securely for use later.
  • Click GENERATE SECRET to create the Client Secret — copy it immediately and store it securely for use later, as it is only shown once.
  • Click Save.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • UKG Ready Base URL
  • Company Short Name
  • OAuth Client ID
  • OAuth Client Secret

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
