Admin access to your Traffit account is required to create API credentials.

Find your Traffit subdomain

Your Traffit subdomain is part of the URL you use to access your account.

Identify your subdomain

Sign in to your Traffit account and look at the URL in your browser.

  • For example, if your URL is https://mycompany.traffit.com, your subdomain is mycompany

Create an API client

Create an API client in your Traffit account to obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials.

Navigate to API settings

Sign in to your Traffit account.

  • Go to Settings in the navigation menu
  • Select IntegrationsAPI
  • Click Add new API client

Configure the client and select scopes

Enter a name for your API client (e.g., “StackOne”) and select the required permission scopes.

  • employee — candidate/employee data management
  • recruitment — job opening and pipeline management
  • webhook — webhook registration and management
  • client — client company management
  • user — user account management
  • crm — CRM person and activity access

Copy your credentials

After creating the client, Traffit will display your credentials.

  • Copy the Client ID (this is the name you gave the client)
  • Copy the Client Secret (shown only once — store it securely)

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Subdomain
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
