Generating an API Key
To connect Teamtailor with StackOne, you’ll need to generate an API key with Admin read/write permissions from your Teamtailor account.
Navigate to API Keys Settings
Sign in to your Teamtailor account and navigate to the API Keys settings page.
- Click Settings in the navigation menu
- Select Integrations
- Click on API keys
Create a New API Key
Click + New API Key to create a new API key for the integration.
Configure API Key Permissions
Choose the appropriate permission level and access type for your API key.
- Permission Level: Select Admin for full access to all account data
- Access Type: Select Read/Write for complete API functionality
- Public: Access to public data on career site only
- Internal: Access to public and internal data (e.g., unlisted jobs)
- Admin: Full access to all account data (recommended for StackOne)
Save and Copy the API Key
After creating the key, copy it and store it securely.
Understanding Permission Levels
Teamtailor API keys have three permission levels, each with read, write, or read/write access.
Public Access
Access to all public data available on the career site.
- Jobs visible on career site
- Departments and locations
- Public company information
Internal Access
Access to public and internal data.
- Everything in Public access
- Unlisted jobs
- Internal jobs
- Archived jobs
Admin Access (Recommended)
Full access to all account data and resources.
- Everything in Internal access
- Candidates and job applications
- Users and team members
- All account settings and data
- Required for complete integration with StackOne
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Fill out the fields
- API Key
Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
