Generating a personal access token requires a Talend Cloud subscription that includes the Talend Management Console — a Qlik Cloud Analytics-only plan or a free trial does not open the Management Console. To access the Management Console, it is mandatory to migrate your Talend Cloud account to Qlik. The token inherits your account’s permissions, and you can have up to five active tokens at the same time. If single sign-on is enabled and you are blocked from the Talend Cloud application, an administrator must grant your user or group access to that application in your identity provider (for example, Microsoft Entra ID).

A personal access token authenticates StackOne with Talend Cloud using your account’s permissions.

Sign in to Qlik Talend Cloud

Sign in to your Qlik Talend Cloud account.

  • To access the Talend Management Console, it is mandatory to migrate your Talend Cloud account to Qlik. If prompted, complete the migration wizard by clicking Migrate your Talend account, then sign in with your Qlik email and password.
  • If you have multiple tenants, select your Talend tenant after you sign in.

Open Profile preferences

In the Management Console, click your username in the top-right corner.

  • Select Profile preferences.
  • Click Personal access tokens.

Add and copy the token

Click Add token to generate a new token.

  • Enter a name for the token.
  • Click Generate.
  • A Bearer token opens in a new window that is displayed only once. Copy it and store it securely for use later — if you close the window without copying it, you cannot use that token.
  • Paste it into the Personal Access Token field in StackOne Hub.

Find your Talend region

Your Talend region identifies the Talend Cloud API endpoint StackOne calls for your tenant.

  • Check your Talend portal URL while signed in — the region is the segment right after app..
  • Format: https://app.{region}.cloud.talend.com
  • Example: if your URL is https://app.sg.cloud.talend.com/portal, your region is sg (Singapore).
  • Select the matching value in the Region field in StackOne Hub.

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Region
  • Personal Access Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
