Create an API Key in SendGrid

To connect SendGrid with StackOne, you need to generate an API key from your SendGrid account with the appropriate permissions.

1

Sign in to SendGrid

Sign in to your SendGrid account.

2

Navigate to API Keys

In the left sidebar, expand Settings and select API Keys.

3

Create a New API Key

On the API Keys page, click the Create API Key button in the top right corner.

4

Configure API Key Settings

Fill in the API key creation form:

  • Enter an API Key Name (e.g., StackOne Integration).
  • Under API Key Permissions, select Full Access for complete integration capabilities, Billing Access for billing-only access, or Custom Access to configure granular permissions (e.g., Mail Send, Marketing, Stats, Suppressions, Teammates).
  • Click Create & View to generate the key.
5

Copy the API Key

After creation, your API key will be displayed. Copy the key immediately and store it securely — for security reasons, SendGrid will not show it again.

Configure Your Region

When connecting in StackOne, select the region that matches your SendGrid account.

1

Select Your Region

Choose Global for standard accounts or EU if you have an EU regional subuser configured for European data residency.
