Admin access to your Sage HR account is required to generate API keys.

Enabling API Access

To connect Sage HR with StackOne, you need to enable API access and obtain your API key.

Sign in to Sage HR

Sign in to your Sage HR account.

Navigate to Settings

Click on your name in the top right corner, then click Settings.

Open Integrations

On the settings menu, click Integrations, then click API.

Enable API Access

Click Enable API Access to activate access to the API. This will provide you with your unique API key.

Copy the API Key

Copy your API key and store it securely for use later. Keep this key confidential as it provides access to your Sage HR data.

Finding Your Subdomain

Your subdomain identifies your Sage HR instance.

Locate Your Subdomain

Your subdomain is the text before .sage.hr in your Sage HR URL. For example, if you access Sage HR at https://mycompany.sage.hr, your subdomain is mycompany.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Subdomain
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
