Access to your Render account is required to generate API keys.

Generating a Render API Key

To connect Render with StackOne, you need to generate an API key from your Render account.

Sign in to Render

Sign in to your Render Dashboard.

Navigate to Account settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Account settings from the dropdown menu.

Open API Keys Section

In the Account settings page, navigate to the API Keys section.

Create a new API Key

Click the Create API Key button.

  • Give your API key a unique name (e.g., StackOne Integration)
  • Click the Create API Key button to generate the key

Copy your API Key

Copy the generated API key immediately and store it securely for use later.

  • API Key format: rnd_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • The key will only be displayed once — save it immediately
  • Keep your API Key secure as it provides full access to your Render account

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
