Sign in as a user whose role includes write:management_keys, such as the account Owner or an Admin. Qdrant Cloud does not let you choose permissions for a Cloud Management Key, so the key is not limited to what StackOne reads. Qdrant documents it as able to manage clusters, backups and other operations in the account. A Cloud Management Key is not deleted or revoked when the person who created it is removed from the account, so it keeps working until you delete it.

Create a Cloud Management Key

StackOne uses a Cloud Management Key to read the members, roles and pending invitations of one Qdrant Cloud account. It cancels an invitation only when you run that action. The key is separate from the Database API keys that open a cluster.

1

Sign in to Qdrant Cloud

Sign in to your Qdrant Cloud account as a user whose role includes write:management_keys.

  • If you belong to more than one account, pick the right one in the account switcher at the top left first.
  • Navigate to Access Management > Cloud Management Keys.
2

Create the key

Click Create.

  • Qdrant Cloud creates the key in the account you selected. You do not name it or choose its permissions.
3

Copy the key

Copy the key and store it securely for use later.

  • The key is available only once, when Qdrant Cloud creates it.
  • If you lose the key, delete it and create a new one.
  • Paste it into the Cloud Management Key field in StackOne Hub.

Find your Account ID

The Account ID identifies the Qdrant Cloud account you created the key in. You can leave it empty, and StackOne then uses the only account the key can see. If the connection test asks for it, enter it.

  • Open the Accounts page from the user menu, or choose Manage accounts in the account switcher.
  • Find the account you created the key in. Its Account ID is shown there and on its Settings page.
  • Format: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Example: 00000000-0000-4000-8000-000000000000
  • Paste it into the Account ID field in StackOne Hub.

Revoke the key

Delete the key to stop StackOne’s access. Qdrant Cloud revokes a deleted key at once, and the connection stops working.

  • Navigate to Access Management > Cloud Management Keys and delete the key from its row.
