Generating a Server API token
The Server API token covers the Pushwoosh management, messaging and statistics APIs. You create a Device API token in the next section.
Sign in to Pushwoosh
Sign in to your Pushwoosh account and open the project you want to connect.
- In the left sidebar, expand Settings and click API Access.

Open the token generator
On the API Access page, click Generate New Token.

Create a server token
Fill in the Generate New Token form.
- Token type:
server - Name:
StackOne Integration - Click Generate.

Open the server token settings
A new token has no project access until you assign it. Click the three-dot menu on the StackOne Integration row with token type server and select Edit token….

Review permissions and allowed IPs
On the Edit API Token Permissions page, keep all four permissions enabled so every connector action works.
- Account modification
- Applications modification
- Tags modification
- Message sending & deleting
- Leave Allowed IP addresses empty to allow the token from anywhere, or list the IP addresses StackOne calls from.

Select projects for the server token
Under Applications, tick every project StackOne should manage, then click Save.

Copy the Server API token
Back on Settings > API Access, hover over the StackOne Integration row with token type server and click Copy.
- Paste it into the Server API Token field in StackOne Hub.

Generating a Device API token
The Device API token covers devices, device tags, users, events, email subscribers and inbox. Create it on the same API Access page.
Create a device token
Click Generate New Token and fill in the form.
- Token type:
device - Name:
StackOne Integration - Click Generate.

Select projects for the device token
Click the three-dot menu on the StackOne Integration row with token type device and select Edit token…. Under Applications, tick the same projects as the server token, then click Save.

Copy the Device API token
Back on Settings > API Access, hover over the StackOne Integration row with token type device and click Copy.
- Paste it into the Device API Token field in StackOne Hub.
- Check that you copied the row with token type
device, not the server token. StackOne cannot check this token when you connect. - Treat both tokens like passwords. Anyone who has them can call the Pushwoosh API for the selected projects, so store them securely for use later.
