Admin access is required to generate API keys. Generate separate API keys for sandbox and production environments.

Generate an API key

An API key authenticates requests to Paddle.

Sign in to Paddle

Sign in to your Paddle account: production or sandbox.

  • In the sidebar, navigate to Developer Tools and click Authentication.

Create API key

Click + New API key and fill in the details.

  • Name: StackOne Integration
  • Description: API key for StackOne integration
  • Set an expiration date.
  • Select Permissions according to your integration needs (e.g., Subscriptions, Transactions, Customers, Prices, Discounts, Notifications).
  • Read or write access for Products is required to connect the account.
  • Click Save.

Copy API key

Copy the API key and store it securely as it is shown only once.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
