Get Your API Key
To connect Nutshell with StackOne, you’ll need your Nutshell login email and an API key.
Sign in to Nutshell
Sign in to your Nutshell account.
Open API Keys settings
Navigate to the API Keys page in your Nutshell settings.
- Click Settings in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
- Click Connections in the sidebar, which will take you directly to the API keys page.
Create a new API key
Create a new API key with the correct permissions.
- Click Add API key… at the top of the API keys table.
- Enter a Name for the key (e.g., “StackOne Integration”).
- Select API access as the permission.
- Click New API key.
Copy the API key
The new key will appear in the API keys table.
- Click on the newly created API key row in the table.
- The Edit API key dialog will open with the full API key displayed in the API Key field.
- Copy the API key and store it securely.
About your username
The Username is the email address you use to sign in to Nutshell.
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Fill out the fields
- Username (Email)
- API Key
Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
