Generate a User API Key

Create a personal User API Key from your New Relic account

Log in to New Relic

Log in to your New Relic account at one.newrelic.com

Navigate to Integrations & Agents

Click on Integrations & Agents in the top left navigation

Open API Keys

Select API Keys from the submenu

Create a new key

Click Create a key and set key type to User

Name the key

Give the key a descriptive name and click Create a key

Copy the key

Copy the generated key (format NRAK-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) and paste it in the User API Key field

Find your Account ID

Locate your New Relic account ID

Check the URL

Your Account ID is visible in the URL when logged in (e.g. one.newrelic.com/nr1-core?account=1234567)

Alternative method

Click on your user menu and select Administration, then look for Account ID

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • User API Key
  • Account ID
  • API Region

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
