Find your Workspace ID and data center

MoEngage uses HTTP Basic Auth with your Workspace ID as the username. The data center number tells StackOne which regional MoEngage API host to call.

Sign in to MoEngage

Sign in to your MoEngage account. After sign-in you are redirected to the dashboard for your data center.

  • Format: https://dashboard-0X.moengage.com, where 0X is your data center number (01–06)
  • Example: https://dashboard-01.moengage.com means data center 01
  • Select the matching option in the Data Center field in StackOne Hub (01 and 04 are US, 02 is EU, 03 is India, 05 is Singapore, 06 is Indonesia).

Open the API keys page

Click Settings at the bottom of the left navigation menu, then click API Keys under Account.

Copy your Workspace ID

The Workspace ID (earlier app id) is shown at the top of the API keys page.

  • Click the copy icon next to the Workspace ID (earlier app id) value.
  • Paste it into the Workspace ID field in StackOne Hub.

Copying the API keys

The connector uses two of the keys listed with the auth type Basic Auth (Legacy) on the API keys page. Each key authenticates a different set of MoEngage APIs, so both fields need their own key. Keys made with Create new key (auth type Basic Auth) are rejected by the campaign, content block, template, business event, and catalog APIs, so use the legacy keys.

Copy the Data and Campaign report keys

In the Active API keys table, find the two keys below and click the copy icon in the Key column of each row.

  • Data: paste it into the Data API Key field in StackOne Hub. It authenticates user, event, bulk import, segment, subscription preference, and email template actions.
  • Campaign report/Business events/Custom templates/Catalog API/Inform Report: paste it into the Campaign Report / Business Events / Templates / Catalog / Inform API Key field in StackOne Hub. It authenticates campaign, content block, custom template, business event, and catalog actions.
  • Store both keys securely for use later.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Workspace ID
  • Data API Key
  • Campaign Report / Business Events / Templates / Catalog / Inform API Key
  • Data Center

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account on your Accounts page.
