Connect without authentication
This connector calls The Met Collection API, which is fully open access and requires no credentials — all artwork data is public domain (CC0). There is nothing to obtain from The Metropolitan Museum of Art to connect.

Create the connection
Choose the No Authentication option and create the connection in StackOne Hub. There are no fields to fill in — no API key, username, or password is required. StackOne verifies connectivity by listing the museum’s departments.
- The Met asks clients to stay below 80 requests/second; the connector’s built-in rate limit keeps usage well within this guideline.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub
Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
