Medium stopped issuing new integration tokens on January 1, 2025. Only users who generated a token before that date can connect. Existing tokens continue to work indefinitely.

Find your Integration Token

If you generated a Medium integration token before January 2025, you can use it to connect.

Sign in to Medium

Sign in to your Medium account.

  • Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Locate your integration token

Scroll down to the Integration tokens section.

  • If you already have a token, copy it for use below.
  • If the Integration tokens section is not visible, your account does not have access to the Medium API.

What you can do with this token

An integration token provides access to the following resources:

  • User Profile — Retrieve your authenticated user details
  • Publications — List your publications and their contributors
  • Posts — Create posts on your profile or under a publication

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Integration Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
