Only Super Admin users can create API credentials. The client secret is shown only once.

Get Your Matillion API Credentials

Create API credentials from your Matillion (Maia) account settings.

Log in to Matillion

Log in to your Matillion account.

Navigate to API Credentials

Go to Profile & Account Settings > API Credentials.

Create API Credential

Click Set an API Credential, assign a descriptive name, and select an Account Role.

Copy Credentials

Copy the Client ID and Client Secret immediately.

  • The Client Secret is shown only once and cannot be retrieved later
  • Store credentials securely

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • Region

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
