API keys are created in the Lucid Developer Portal, which requires the developer role on a Lucid team plan. A free personal account cannot create API keys — ask your Lucid admin to assign you the developer role first.

Create a Lucid API key

Generate a long-lived API key in the Lucid Developer Portal. The key inherits the permissions (document grants) of the user who creates it.

1

Open the Developer Portal

Sign in to the Lucid Developer Portal with a user that has the developer role, then open your application.

2

Create an API key

In your application, open the API Keys section and create a new API key. Choose the grant level the integration needs (read, edit, or admin).

  • Give the key a descriptive name so you can identify it later.
3

Copy the API key

Copy the generated key value and paste it into StackOne Hub.

  • Copy the key into the API Key field in StackOne Hub.
  • The key is shown only once — store it securely before leaving the page.

Linking the Account from the Hub

1

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.
2

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key
3

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
