Generate API Credentials

Create API credentials from your LinkedIn Learning Admin Settings. Admin privileges are required.

Access LinkedIn Learning Admin

Log into your LinkedIn Learning account with admin privileges.

Navigate to Integration Settings

From the dashboard:

  • Click Me in the top-right corner
  • Select Integrate from the dropdown menu

Access API Settings

Select Access content and reports via API from the left-hand menu.

Create a New Application

Under “Generate LinkedIn Learning REST API Application”:

  • Click Add Application
  • Enter an Application Name (e.g., StackOne Integration)
  • Enter an Application Description explaining your use case
  • Select Content and Report for the Choose keys option
  • Click Next and accept the Terms and Conditions

Copy Your Credentials

Once saved, copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the Applications section.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
