Admin permissions in Leapsome are required to generate a Content API Secret.

Generate a Content API Secret

Generate an API Secret from the Leapsome admin area. The secret is only displayed
once at generation — store it securely before closing the dialog.

Sign in to Leapsome

Sign in to your Leapsome account with an admin user.

Navigate to Content API Settings

Go to Settings → Integrations and Imports → Content API.

Create an API Secret

Click Create API Secret. The secret appears above the button. Copy it
immediately — it is not stored or shown again. If lost, generate a new one
and re-install the integration.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Content API Secret

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
