Ensure you have Admin or Super Admin access to the LastPass Admin Console.

Find your Account Number (CID)

Your Account Number (CID) identifies your LastPass Business organization.

Sign in to LastPass Admin Console

Sign in to your LastPass Admin Console.

Locate the Account Number

Open the profile menu in the top-right corner to view your account details.

  • Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Admin Console.
  • Your Account Number is shown in the dropdown as Account number.
  • Example: 1234567
  • Copy the number and store it for use later.

Generate a Provisioning Hash

The Provisioning Hash is your API secret key used to authenticate API requests.

Navigate to the Enterprise API page

From the LastPass Admin Console, navigate to Advanced > Enterprise API.

Create the Provisioning Hash

If you have not previously created a provisioning hash, click Create provisioning hash > OK. Your provisioning hash will be displayed at the top of the page.

  • Copy the hash and store it securely — it is only displayed once.
  • Note: If you need to regenerate the hash, click Reset your provisioning hash > OK. This will invalidate the previous hash and require updating all existing integrations.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Account Number (CID)
  • Provisioning Hash

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
