You must be a Keka Administrator to access the API configuration settings.

Find Your Company Subdomain

Your company subdomain is the prefix in your Keka URL.

Locate your Keka URL

Sign in to Keka. Your URL will be in the format https://<subdomain>.keka.com. The subdomain is the part before .keka.com. For example, if your URL is https://acme.keka.com, your subdomain is acme.

Generate API Credentials

Generate your Client ID, Client Secret, and API Key from the Keka admin portal.

Open Integrations Settings

In your Keka admin portal, navigate to Settings > Integrations > API. If you don’t see this section, ensure you have Administrator privileges.

Create an API Key

Click Generate API Key to create a new API key configuration. You can configure the scope of access during creation.

  • Select the data scopes you need (e.g., Employee And Org Information, Leave, Attendance, Payroll, Timesheet, Performance)
  • Confirm and generate the key

Copy Your Credentials

After generating, copy and store all three values securely.

  • Copy the Client ID
  • Copy the Client Secret — it may only be shown once
  • Copy the API Key

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Company Subdomain
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
