IONOS rejects Basic authentication for users with 2-factor authentication turned on. Only contract administrators and owners can manage users, so sign in as one of them.

Using your IONOS Cloud login

Basic authentication sends the email and password of an IONOS Cloud user with every request.

Choose the user

Use the Email Address and Password you sign in to the IONOS Data Center Designer with.

  • The user must not have 2-factor authentication turned on.
  • Use a contract owner or administrator to manage users and groups.

Enter the credentials

Paste the email into the Email Address field and the password into the Password field in StackOne Hub.

Find your contract number

The Contract Number field is optional. Leave it empty to use the user’s default contract.

Open the account menu

Select Menu, then click your initials in the top navigation bar. The drop-down shows your contract number.

  • Paste it into the Contract Number field in StackOne Hub.
  • Example: 31000000

Connect

  • Click Connect.
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.
