InfoSec IQ runs separate servers for North American and European customers. Select the region that matches your organization’s account.
- North American Server: https://securityiq.infosecinstitute.com
- EU Server: https://securityiq-eu.infosecinstitute.com
- To confirm which server your account uses, check your browser address bar while signed in to InfoSec IQ.
Generate an API key
Create an API key from your InfoSec IQ Account settings and store it for later use.
Sign in to InfoSec IQ
Sign in to your InfoSec IQ account at https://securityiq.infosecinstitute.com (North American Server) or https://securityiq-eu.infosecinstitute.com (EU Server).
- Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Account settings from the dropdown menu.
Open API keys
On the Account settings page, click API keys in the left sidebar. An overview page with documentation will appear.
- Click Manage API keys to open the key management table showing existing keys with their creation date and last-used timestamp.
Generate the key
Create a new key and copy it for use later.
- Click Generate New Key in the top-right of the API keys page.
- In the Create a new key confirmation dialog that appears, click Generate New Key again to confirm.
- The new key (a UUID-style value in the format
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000) will appear in the API Keys table. - Copy the key value from the Key column and store it securely.
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
