The Personal Access Token is exchanged for an access token valid for 60 minutes. StackOne repeats the exchange automatically, so the token must stay active in your GoTo account.

Create an OAuth client

Create an OAuth client in the GoTo Developer Portal and enable the Personal Access Token grant.

Sign in to GoTo Developer Portal

Sign in to the GoTo Developer Portal and click Create a client.

Enable the Personal Access Token grant

Under Grant types, enable Personal Access Token, then select the scopes your integration needs.

Copy client credentials

On the Credentials page, copy the Client ID and Client Secret. The Client Secret is shown only once.

Create a Personal Access Token

Generate a Personal Access Token in your GoTo account.

Open Developer Tools

Sign in to myaccount.goto.com and open Developer Tools.

Create the token

Click Create token, select the same scopes you enabled on the OAuth client, then copy the token.

Account Key (optional)

Enter your GoTo account key only if you use account-level actions (Admin API users, groups, role sets, and recording assets). Leave it blank otherwise. The token exchange does not return the account key, so StackOne cannot detect it.

Connect

  • Click Connect.
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.
