Generating a Personal Access Token
To connect GitBook with StackOne, generate a Personal Access Token from your GitBook account.
Sign in to GitBook
Sign in to your GitBook account.

Access Developer tools
Navigate to the Developer tools page in your account settings.
- Click Settings in the left sidebar under Organization.
- Click Developer tools in the left sidebar under Organization.
- Navigate to the API Access Tokens tab.

Create a new access token
Click the + Create new API token button to generate a new Personal Access Token.
- Enter a descriptive label for your token (e.g., StackOne Integration).
- Click the Create button.

Copy the access token
Copy the generated Personal Access Token and store it securely.
- Format:
gb_api_followed by alphanumeric characters. - Click the Copy button to copy the token to your clipboard.
- Click
Xto close the token generation modal. - Note: If you lose your token, you will need to generate a new one.

Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Fill out the fields
- Personal Access Token
Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
