Register an application on the Finastra developer portal
Finastra authenticates through FusionFabric.cloud OpenID Connect using the authorization code flow. You first register an application to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.
Sign in and create an application
Sign in to the Finastra Developer Portal and create a new application.
- Open your applications area and select Create a new app.
- Give the application a name, for example StackOne.
- Select the environment you want to connect — Sandbox or Production.
Subscribe to the Corporate Banking Channels APIs
Add the APIs this connector uses to your application so the issued token is authorized for them.
- Subscribe to the Corporate Banking Channels APIs you need, such as Accounts and Balances, Payment Initiation, FX Rates, Beneficiary Maintenance, Counterparties, Term Deposits, Transaction Enquiries and Transaction Approvals.
Set the redirect URI
Add the StackOne callback URL as an allowed redirect URI for your application.
- Redirect URI:
https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/finastra/callback
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret
Once the application is created, copy its credentials from the application details.
- Copy the Client ID generated for the application.
- Copy the Client Secret and store it securely for use later, as it may be shown only once.
Identify your tenant
Provide your FusionFabric.cloud tenant identifier when connecting.
- For the public sandbox, the tenant is
sandbox. - For production, use your organization’s FusionFabric.cloud tenant identifier.
Creating the StackOne Connector Profile
To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for Finastra:Navigate to Connector Profiles
Create New Connector Profile
- Click + Connector Profile
- Search for and select Finastra
- Select Type as OAuth 2.0
- Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Tenant
- (Optional) Select Actions to be enabled for this Connector Profile
- Click Create profile
