Admin privileges in your Factorial HR account are required to generate API keys.

Creating an API Key

To connect Factorial HR with StackOne, you’ll need to generate an API key from your Factorial account.

Navigate to API Keys

Sign in to your Factorial HR account and navigate to the API Keys settings.

  • Click Settings in the side menu
  • Scroll down to Advanced configuration
  • Select API Keys

Create a new API Key

Click New API Key to create a new API key for the integration.

Name the API Key

Enter a descriptive name for the API key (e.g., StackOne Integration) and click Get my API key.

Copy the API Key

Copy your API Key and store it securely for use later.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
