Choose your Envi environment

Pick the Envi environment this connection should talk to.

  • Select Production to connect to the live Envi application.
  • Select Demo only if you were specifically given a demo or evaluation tenant.
  • The two are separate systems with separate data and separate credentials — a Production user name will not authenticate against Demo.

Use a dedicated integration user

Envi authorizes by role, so the connection can only read and write what the signed-in user’s role permits.

1

Choose the account to connect as

Sign in to Envi and confirm which account you want the integration to act as. A dedicated integration user is recommended, so that a person changing role or leaving the organization does not silently break the connection. If an action later returns a permissions error, the fix is to widen that user’s Envi role — reconnecting will not help.

2

Enter the credentials

Enter that user’s Username and Password below. These are the same credentials used to sign in to the Envi application. There is no API key or client secret to create — Envi does not require registering a developer app.

Find your Organization Number (optional)

Only needed when the account can access more than one Envi organization.

1

Look up the Organization ID

Leave Organization Number blank to connect to the account’s default organization. To target a specific one, in Envi go to Organization > My Organization Details and copy the value of the Organization ID field.

2

One organization per connection

The organization is fixed at the moment the connection is created, so one linked account maps to exactly one Envi organization. To integrate a second organization, create a second linked account.

Linking the Account from the Hub
