Find Your Tenant ID
Your Microsoft Entra tenant ID is required to establish the connection to Business Central.
Locate the Tenant ID
You can find your Tenant ID in one of the following ways.
- In the Microsoft Entra admin center, navigate to Identity > Overview. The Tenant ID is displayed on the Overview page.
- Alternatively, in the Azure Portal, navigate to Microsoft Entra ID > Overview. The Tenant ID field contains the value you need.
- Copy the Tenant ID (a GUID in the format 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789abc) and enter it in the connection form.
Find Your Business Central Environment Name
The environment name identifies which Business Central environment to connect to.
Locate the Environment Name
Sign in to Business Central and find the environment name.
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon) > Admin Center, or go directly to
https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/[TENANT_ID]/admin(replace[TENANT_ID]with your Microsoft Entra tenant ID). - Under Environments, you will see a list of available environments with their names and types.
- Common environment names are production or sandbox. Your organization may also have custom-named environments.
- Copy the exact environment name and enter it in the connection form.
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Fill out the fields
- Tenant ID
- Business Central Environment
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
