The Organization API is for Cursor Enterprise organizations, and only an organization admin can create an Organization API key.

Create an Organization API key

An Organization API key works across every team linked to your Cursor organization. Team API keys don’t work with the organization routes.

1

Create the key

Sign in to the Cursor dashboard as an organization admin and create an Organization API key.

  • Give the key a descriptive name, such as StackOne Integration.
  • Choose one scope for the key. Each Organization API key carries exactly one scope.
  • members:read reads organization members.
  • members:* also moves members between teams and manages organization groups.
  • usage:* reads pooled usage, usage events, daily usage and spend.
  • models:read reads model access, and models:* also changes it.
  • auditlogs:read reads the audit log.
  • admin:* covers every organization route, and is the only scope that runs Grok Bot computer operations.
2

Copy the key

Copy the Organization API Key across.

  • Format: crsr_ followed by a long string of letters and digits
  • Example: crsr_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
