Generate Your API Key

Create an API key in the Cohere Dashboard to authenticate your connection.

Access the Cohere Dashboard

Navigate to the API Keys section in your Cohere account.

  • Sign in to your Cohere Dashboard
  • Click API Keys in the left sidebar under “Platform”

Create a New API Key

Generate a new key based on your usage needs.

  • For testing: Click + New Trial key or + Create Trial key (free, rate-limited, not for commercial use)
  • For production: Click + New Production key under Production keys section
  • Enter a name for your key to identify it later

Copy Your API Key

Securely copy your API key for use in your connection.

  • Click the copy icon next to your key to copy it
  • Important: Store your API key securely - it provides access to your Cohere account
  • You can view, rename, or delete keys from this page at any time

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
