Generate a Personal API Token

To connect CircleCI with StackOne, you’ll need to generate a Personal API Token from the CircleCI web application.

Sign in to CircleCI

Sign in to your CircleCI account.

Navigate to Personal API Tokens

Access your Personal API Token settings.

  • Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
  • Select User Settings.
  • In the left sidebar, click Personal API Tokens.

Create a new Token

Generate a new Personal API Token.

  • Click Create New Token.
  • Enter a descriptive name for the token (e.g., StackOne Integration).
  • Click Add API Token.
  • Copy the token immediately — it will only be shown once.
  • Store it securely for use later.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Personal API Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
