Getting a ChartHop API Token

ChartHop API access requires creating a ChartHop App. Apps are provisioned by the ChartHop team.

Request a new app

Email support@charthop.com with subject line “new app request” and include the app name, your org name, required permission levels, and whether you need REST API access, webhook notifications, or both.

Copy your API token

Once approved, ChartHop installs the app in your org. Navigate to Settings > Apps & Integrations > [Your App] to find your API authorization token.

Find your Organization ID

Your Organization ID (slug) appears in your ChartHop URL. For example, if your URL is https://app.charthop.com/acme/…, your org ID is “acme”.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Token
  • Organization ID

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
