Generate Your API Key

Create an API Key from the Chargify (Maxio) Advanced Billing dashboard.

Access Integrations Settings

Log in to your Chargify (Maxio) dashboard at https://{your-subdomain}.chargify.com, then navigate to Config > Integrations from the sidebar.

Create a New API Key

Click New API Key to generate a new key. Copy the key immediately.

  • The shared secret is displayed only once and cannot be retrieved later.
  • Only admin users can manage API keys.
  • You can have up to 10 API keys per site.

Enter the API Key

Paste your API Key into the API Key field in StackOne.

Retrieve Your Site Subdomain

Identify your Chargify (Maxio) site subdomain used to construct API requests.

Find Your Subdomain

Your subdomain is the first part of your dashboard URL. For example, if your URL is ‘https://mycompany.chargify.com’ or ‘https://mycompany.ebilling.maxio.com’, enter mycompany

Enter the Subdomain

Enter your site subdomain (e.g., mycompany) in the Subdomain field.

Select Your Data Region

Choose the region that matches where your Chargify (Maxio) account is hosted.

Identify Region

Check your Chargify (Maxio) account URL to determine your data region.

  • US - Dashboard URL contains chargify.com
  • EU - Dashboard URL contains ebilling.maxio.com

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key
  • Site Subdomain
  • Region

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
