Only Canva Enterprise organizations have the Admin API. You must be an organization admin, and your account must use single sign-on or multi-factor authentication.

Create an Admin API client

Create a client in your Canva organization settings and copy its credentials.

Open the Admin API settings

In Canva, click your profile icon and select Settings. In the left sidebar, under Organization settings, click Admin API.

Create the client

Click Create an API client.

  • For Client name, enter a name such as StackOne.
  • Under Scopes, select admin:user:read, admin:team:read and admin:organization:read. Select no write scopes.
  • Click Continue.

Save the credentials

Copy the client ID and client secret into the fields below. Canva shows the secret only once.

Connect

  • Click Connect.
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.
