Personal Access Tokens provide full access to your individual Calendly account. For team or production use, consider OAuth 2.0 instead.

Generate Personal Access Token

Create a personal access token for API authentication in your Calendly account.

Navigate to API Settings

Access the API & Webhooks section to manage API access.

  • Sign in to your Calendly account
  • From the Calendly home page, click Integrations & apps in the left sidebar
  • Click on the API and webhooks card

Create Personal Access Token

Generate and save your new access token.

  • Scroll to the Personal Access Tokens section
  • Click Generate New Token button
  • In the popup dialog, enter a token name in the Add a name field (e.g., “StackOne Integration”)
  • Click Create token button
  • ⚠️ CRITICAL: The token is displayed only once
  • Copy the entire token value immediately (starts with eyJhbGc...)
  • Store it securely in a password manager
  • Note: If lost, you must revoke and create a new token

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Personal Access Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
