Create Store-level API credentials

Generate API credentials from your BigCommerce store admin panel.

Sign in to BigCommerce

Sign in to your BigCommerce account.

  • Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  • Scroll down to the API section and click Store-level API accounts.

Create API account

Create a new API account.

  • Click the + Create API account button.
  • Ensure the Token type is set to V2/V3 API token (this is the default).
  • Enter a name for your API account (e.g., StackOne Integration).

Note your Store Hash

The API path field on the form contains your Store Hash.

  • Example: if your API path is https://api.bigcommerce.com/stores/xnaydyw7a1/v3/, your Store Hash is xnaydyw7a1

Select the required OAuth scopes for your integration. For each scope, click read-only or modify to set the access level.

Save and copy credentials

Click Save to generate your credentials.

  • Copy the Access Token immediately (shown only once) and store securely for use later.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Store Hash
  • Access Token

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
