A2AGetting Your Account ID
Your Account ID identifies your specific Basecamp organization and is required for API requests.
Find Account ID from Browser URL
Your Account ID is visible in the browser address bar when logged into Basecamp.
- Sign in to https://3.basecamp.com
- Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar
- The Account ID is the number immediately after the domain
- Format: https://3.basecamp.com/{ACCOUNT_ID}/…
- Example: In https://3.basecamp.com/1234567/projects, the Account ID is 1234567
- This number appears in all Basecamp URLs (projects, to-dos, messages, etc.)
Linking the Account from the Hub
Navigate to the Hub
Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.
Fill out the fields
Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
- Account ID (Optional)
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
