Admin access to your Apollo account is required to create and manage API keys.

Create an API Key in Apollo

To connect Apollo with StackOne, you need to create an API key from the Apollo Developer Portal.

Navigate to the Apollo Developer Portal

Log in to the Apollo Developer Portal and navigate to API Keys.

Open API Keys Section

Click API Keys to view your existing API keys and create new ones.

Create a New API Key

Click Create new key to start creating a new API key.

  • Enter a meaningful Name for your API key (e.g., StackOne Integration).
  • Add a thorough Description to provide context about the key’s purpose.
  • Under APIs, select each API endpoint that you want the key to have access to, or leave Set as master key enabled to grant access to all endpoints. Note that some endpoints, like Get a List of Users, are only accessible with a master key.
  • Note: Set as master key is enabled by default — selecting any specific endpoint from the dropdown automatically disables it.
  • ⚠️ Important: If Set as master key is not enabled, the api/v1/mixed_people/api_search endpoint must be selected for a successful account connection.
  • To use the Poll Webhook Result action, also select the api/v1/webhook_result/show endpoint, or keep Set as master key enabled.
  • Click Create API key to generate the key.

Copy and Secure Your API Key

Apollo displays the full API key value. Click Copy to copy the API key and store it securely. This is the only time the full API key will be shown.

Connect

  • Click Connect.
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.
