Admin access to your Anthropic organization is required to generate an API key.

Generate an API Key

To connect Anthropic with StackOne, you’ll need to generate an API key from the Anthropic Console.

Sign in to the Anthropic Console

Sign in to your Anthropic Console.

Open Organization Settings

Click your profile in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar and select Organization settings.

Navigate to API Keys

In the Organization settings sidebar, click API keys.

Create a new API key

Click + Create key to open the key creation dialog.

  • If you have multiple workspaces, select the appropriate one from the Create in Workspace dropdown.
  • Enter a descriptive name in the Name your key field (e.g., StackOne Integration).
  • Click Add to confirm.
  • Copy the key immediately — it will only be shown once.
  • Store it securely for use later.

What you can do with this API Key

A standard API key provides access to the following resources:

  • Models — List and retrieve details of available Claude models
  • Messages — Send messages to Claude models and count tokens

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
